Cycling Club for People In and Around Karaikudi
Local rides, weekdays endurance rides and Sunday Long ride through the heritage towns of Chettinad. All paces welcome.
Karaikudi, the heart of Chettinad
Karaikudi is the largest town in the Chettinad region of Tamil Nadu, known for its grand mansions, Temples, hand-painted Athangudi tiles and quiet, flat backroads — ideal riding terrain for early morning distance.
The surrounding villages are linked by low-traffic roads that pass temples, tile workshops and century-old courtyards, which is what shapes almost every route we ride.
Why ride here
- Flat, low-traffic roads through mansion villages
- Relax riding window before 8 AM, most of the year
- Heritage stops — palaces, temple towns
- Easy loop-backs to Karaikudi for support and water
